Focus and Scope

Journal of Sustainable Development (JSD) is an international journal published monthly by Canadian Center of Science and Education. The journal is transdisciplinary, which covers original research papers and reviews regarding Environment, Economic and Society with Sustainability. Special issues are encouraged and welcomed.

Submissions are encouraged with subject areas include, but not limited to:

The journal is published in both printed and online versions. The online version is free access and download.

Peer Review Process

The journal uses double-blind system for peer-review; both reviewers and authors' identities remain anonymous. The paper will be peer-reviewed by three experts; two reviewers from outside and one editor from the journal typically involve in reviewing a submission.

2011 Bimonthly, published in February, April, June, August, October and December 
2010 Quarterly, published in March, June, September and December
2008-2009 Three times per year, published in March, July and November

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
